i had a great stay at oakwood crystal city aparthotel. the 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment felt spacious and was fully furnished. i loved the free wifi and parking, which isn't common in the dc area. being close to the crystal city metro made getting around super easy. the area has plenty of stores, including a costco, right within walking distance.
the bathrooms could use some updates, but otherwise, i strongly recommend it.

I found the Oakwood Crystal City through Google Maps and it exceeded my expectations. The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for my family. It had all the essentials, linens, kitchenware, and even toiletries. I appreciated the spacious living area, which included comfortable couches and multiple TVs. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals. The balcony offered a nice view, although the lack of patio furniture was a minor drawback. Despite being located on a busy road, the noise didn't bother us much, except for the occasional firetruck siren. All staff members were incredibly helpful, especially Noelia who assisted with our reservation issue. Wi-Fi was a bit problematic at times, but Max provided us an alternative login that worked perfectly. The hotel's convenience to the metro was a significant plus, allowing for easy access to DC. We found grocery options at the nearby Rite Aid. For family travel, this place provides a balance of space and affordability, making it suitable for short or long stays. Just be aware the business center number of computers is limited, which could lead to delays if you need to print something.

The location is exceptional, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the metro all underground. The one-bedroom apartment was adequate for our needs, and having a washer and dryer in the room was a big plus. However, the kitchen and bathrooms need updating, and the street noise from the 13th floor was disruptive early in the morning. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always greeting us by name and inquiring about our day, enhancing our experience significantly.

The shower had amazing water pressure and the full kitchen made it super easy to whip up meals. I loved soaking up the sun by the outdoor pool and took full advantage of the fun ice cream night they had. The furniture felt a bit dated, but it was all clean and comfy, so I’d definitely come back and recommend others to check it out! ☀️

We loved staying in the spacious apartment with a comfortable lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. It was perfect for our family with a toddler, especially enjoying good access to the Crystal City Metro for quick trips to the Smithsonian.
My kids wished there was a small playground nearby for them to burn off some energy.
